Academy from 12 to 19 February 2023

Among the masters present during this exceptional week, from October 30 to November 6, 2022, you will have the opportunity to perfect your violin skills thanks to Alissa Margulis's masterclasses, your viola skills thanks to Tatjana Masurenko's advice, and your piano skills thanks to Aleksandar Madzar and your cello skills with Peter Bruns.

Academy from 5 to 12 February 2023

Among the masters present during this exceptional week, from February 5 to 12, 2023, you will have the opportunity to perfect your violin skills thanks to Dmitri Sitkovetsky's masterclasses, your cello skills thanks to Sung-won Yang's advice, your piano skills thanks to Hugh Tinney and your singing skill thanks to Antoine Palloc pianist and singing teacher.

The exceptional pianist Nelson Goerner will come from 22 to 23 October 2022 to give two days of high-level master classes.

Academy from 30 October to 6 November 2022

Among the masters present during this exceptional week, from October 30 to November 6, 2022, you will have the opportunity to perfect your violin skills thanks to Salvatore Accardo's master classes, your viola skills thanks to Lars Anders Tomter's advice, and your piano skills thanks to Jean-Frédéric Neuburger and Jean-François Heisser.

Among the masters present during this exceptional week, from October 23 to 30, 2022, you will have the opportunity to perfect your skills with: Ning Feng, violinist, Davide Formisiano, flutist and Dmitri Alexeev, pianist. These prestigious masters are recognized for their quality as teachers and performers. They relay their passion, their professional experience, and their advice to help students reveal their talent.

Academy from 22 to 23 October 2022 - Registrations closed

The exceptional pianist Nelson Goerner will come from 22 to 23 October 2022 to give two days of high-level master classes.

This academy will be open to young instrumentalists at the beginning of their career and to students of higher music schools (CNSM, Hochschule, HEMU, Guildhall...).

Scholarships may be awarded to trainees according to their background and merit.

The two days consist of daily one-hour individual lessons which can be accompanied by a pianist if required. These lessons can be conducted in one of the professional quality recording studios for recording purposes.

You will be able to stay in the *** hotel at the Saline Royale. Catering can also be provided on site thanks to our catering system. Do not hesitate to tell us about your allergies and dietary requirements when you register, so that our teams can adapt to your needs.

Masterclass programme

The welcome of the students by the Saline royale Académie team and the teachers takes place on Friday afternoon, the courses take place on Saturday and Sunday and the students leave during Monday.

In order to help students participate in our academies, scholarships will be available. These will be requested at the time of registration and will be awarded according to criteria such as the student's background, project or motivation.


Three types of events will take place with our academics:

  • Daily and individual classes allowing them to learn every day from our teachers. These classical music classes are given in dedicated rooms, all equipped with a piano. Students can be accompanied by a pianist if they wish.
  • Concerts are held every evening, allowing students to perform in front of an audience if they wish.
  • Two concerts, one for the academicians and one for the teachers, are organized at the end of each academy. Open to the public, they offer students a new opportunity to test themselves and prepare for future performances.

During the academy, students can stay at the Saline Royale's *** hotel and can eat on site thanks to our catering services. Allergies and diets are taken into account in order to adapt to everyone.

  • Classes take place from Monday morning to Friday afternoon and student concerts from Tuesday to Friday.
  • The end-of-term concerts (students and teachers) and the graduation ceremony are held on Saturday during the day.
  • The students’ departure is scheduled for Sunday during the day.

Our accompanying pianists

Present throughout the academies, the accompanying pianists are recruited for their technique, their knowledge of the repertoires selected by the students and their experience. They accompany the classes, but also the recorded masterclasses, auditions and end-of-academy concerts.
